It's the grand opening of the Church of Scientology London. Now the keynote address given by

Scientology Today: Scientology Volunteer Ministers Helping the Children of Kolkata: "This city is a breeding ground for childhood diseases, and epidemics tear through the slums where children whose immune systems are weakened by malnutrition are much more prone to illness. All too often, parents can't afford medical treatment for their children, even at the low-cost hospitals in the area. So the
Volunteer Ministers team up with health care professionals to make free health check ups and medicine available to these youngsters at the Volunteer Ministers Center."
For those of you not following, the Volunteer Ministers tour in India has been has been providing help and care to the thousands throughout the country.
They have established schools, training and delivery centers for the tools and technology covered in the
Scientology Handbook and given workshops improving morale and morals throughout the villages with the book
The Way To Happiness.

You laid out the vision for where you guys were going with Vista at the Professional Developers Conference in Los Angeles back in 2003. From your perspective, how much of that vision is reflected in the product that is shipping this week?Gates: We were able to achieve virtually everything we set out to do. We did not change the file system into a database-like approach. That turned out to be a little ahead of its time. With the exception of that, the presentation richness, the security, the organization-type things that we have here. It's very dramatic. Obviously, we will do more in the future, but this is the foundation that will make Windows computing far simpler."
I'm curious to see this database file structure pans out. While file systems as they stand hold some kind of ordered form, the way in which you would make that a database format I'm not entire sure. I could make some guesses and it's actually a pretty good idea.
Looking further, your ability to include multiple hard drives and systems over a network gets in to a whole different realm, increased flexibility in the major weakpoint (indexing - speed) but then may lose in that systems, operating relatively autonomously, may develop a whole new level and realm of dependencies that could add a considerable complexity. The support infrastructure that may need to be built to make this easy to use and truly transparent on a GUI level is pretty scary.

The whole article is pretty intense. But I'll take up here the topic contained to at least some degree, in that of what has been accomplished by where do we stand.
Technological advance beyond our wildest dreams. How many of those in India are starving, even when India is itself one of the technology premiers of the world?
The more I want to continue on it, the more I want to scoff. Were we to confront who we are, where we came from and what we're doing here, maybe we'd at the least aim and be on target to resolve those things we need to. Do you believe it is out of our grasp to put food in the hands of children in India? How much food is thrown away in America an hour not because you cooked to much, but because "they never buy the whole lot, there's always boxes that just get thrown away."

I had not seen this picture in a long, long time. It's a bit intense isn't it? Do keep in mind that you can't let this kind of stuff go by the reasonable side of the head. If you smell smoke of the nature of a fire, do something about it. Put it out, sound the alarm, scream there IS a fire and WHERE IT IS. Don't even begin to think it's going to be O.K. when the town gets torched out of the spectator's negligence.
Today is the birthday of Human Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., human rights leader amongst human rights leader. His voice still inspires hundreads today, now 39 years after he passed away.
His forthright intention and purpose along with other humanitarians and human rights fighters laid the path for groups like the
Youth For Human Rights International, with it's public service announcements being seen world over and actually inspiring great interestt with much of the planet. And then recent monuments such as the opening of a
Church of Scientology right on Otto-Suhr-Allee 30–34 Berlin, Germany -
a Church like that opened there is a success for one and all in the view of human rights.

The grand opening of the
Church of Scientology Berlin happened two days. As annonced by the Chairman of The Board Religious Technology Center
Mr. David Miscavige at celebration of the New Years in Los Angeles.
The grand opening was attended by 4500+ people at the new building, which stands prominently now at
40,000 square feet in Berlin.
