Intel pledges 80 cores in five years

Sure it won't run anything the x86 can run now, but if it could it would run 1.3 times faster and 80 or more of them simultaneously... Right? Right.

Not interested in the multi-threaded bliss? Maybe we should just go for the 6ghz chip, need that extra edge on your MMORPG? I'm not sure what to do with these yet besides calculate the mass of everything, but it's neeto.

Alternative engergies again

The limelight is on the industry of wind power this time.

There has been over the past 20 years an improvement of wind power efficiency of 80 percent. The concern still run in to is, "When it's not windy, we still need power."

This unfortunately is obviously counter-intention to what is trying to be accomplished.

If it's possible to support housing power for long periods of time, then you could build a city from the bottom up with solar power, wind power and magnetic generators (you know they exist, while not publicized often they work, they exist and we all know it). This bolstered with a burning fuel of some kind for rare emergencies could make for a town perpetuating it's own power for a long time. With an industry in the town itself for the production of solar panels and the maintenence of the equipment, you've been utterly self contained.

Throw a few farms in the mix and you've got a self-contained perpetuating colony. The waste of the farm would also go in the rather alternative waste burning electric generators that run wholy on waste products (again, we know they exist, not publicized for the vested the interests rather they aren't, but they exist and we all know it).

It's pretty simple if everyone weren't so interested in making a quick buck today without trying to BUILD A BETTER WORLD.

Help after the Storm

There is a great deal of work going on to set things right in the storm torn lands of the Philippines.

Here is a shot of Scientology Volunteer Ministers training others in "Assist Technology."

Assists were developed by L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the Scientology religion, can be used by anyone to help people who are ill, distraught or injured. Assists do not take the place of medical attention but aid it by addressing the emotional and spiritual side of the trauma.

See how you can help rebuild, contact the Scienotlogy Volunteer Ministers Coordinator.

Like a big set of legos

It's legos for vegan road warriors.

The hummer series is burned a bit by the concern for the environment. There was an attemp and some manor of environmental support from the series with a hydrogen fuled version.

This obviously wasn't good enough so the proposed follow up came with these concept car versions of the Hummer that would not likely do to well on high production assembly line, but someone such as Bill Gates or John Carmak may well purchase one.

Impress Back Pain

Not giving any evidence or data as to what one is talking about may be the more convincing option for some but I find it just whack.

Want some real data? Check this out.
