I took a visit to the
Cardinal Sean O'Malley's blog, and I'm out of the loop I think. I have not been on the pulse of the Catholic religion for longer than I'm likely to be recorded in history, but I have to say it's nice to get the news right there. See what religion is today from the level of a Cardinal. Seeing religion in it's element is far too often given as a historicaal presentation not as a present time activity.
Granted you have the Pope news but that hardly gives the flavor, that's masses in the thousands and millions with impersonal coverage of the media - the shark reports on the latest scandal of clad woman the Pope's mass or what have you.
While I am not of the religion I do appreciate that there is spirituality of some kind being supported somewhere abroad, we need more of it. The importance of it could not be understated (more on that
here).
